The PEPR SAMS aims to support ambitious research projects based on scientific partnerships between researchers, affected populations, and stakeholders in the field, with the goal of jointly generating new knowledge about the interactions between microbiomes, diet, living conditions, and health. The goal is to better represent the diversity of populations in microbiome research, while addressing scientific and societal questions developed jointly with project partners.
Text of the call for projects and additional information: coming in September 2026.
To better identify the needs and activities that the PEPR SAMS could carry out with interested participants, the program is launching a survey to gauge interest in “Science with and for Society” activities in the field of the microbiome and health.
Estimated time to complete the survey: 10–15 minutes
