On November 18, 2024, INRAE, Université Paris-Saclay, Ferments du Futur and AgroParisTech co-organized a conference bringing together European leaders in academic research, industry and EU bodies, to capitalize on existing knowledge in the fields of the microbiome, food and health.

During the event, Sophie Nicklaus, Deputy Scientific Director “Food and Bioeconomy” at INRAE and Scientific Co-Director of the PEPR SAMS, presented the “Food Systems, Microbiomes and Health” research program. Numerous exchanges then took place with, in particular, various members of the PEPR SAMS, such as Emmanuelle Maguin, Scientific Co-Director of the program, Joël Doré, Coordinator of the COHORTES-MICROBIOMES focus project, and Anne Saint-Eve, Coordinator of the foodXPTools focus project.
